I agree this really does suck, and we can't talk to anyone!!! It makes complete sense!

I think a chat room would be amazing to have, that way you're not annoying everyone else with your status talking but every one knows what you have to say without repeating it to every. single. person.

I missed those group chats and without those it made me wonder why am I still on, you know what I mean because the group chat status it was all about interacting and being a community (Which guys,wattpad) really give into. Please, make it happen :)

LOL. Im going to be hated by everyone for saying this. Wattpads kinda a writing site and i think a chat would make it too much of a "chat site". I like the new meebo (: status chatting was silly, I'd rather write than talk. If I wanted to chat I'd go to facebook or tagged, or bebo, there's heaps. Dont make wattpad a silly chat site. Please.

Oh, additional details. I got kinda annoyed when my notofications got filled with swearing, and other crap like that. If there was a chat could it NOT be in the notifications?

I also agree. The new meebo pisses me off. And the fact that I can't talk to my friends all at once just sucks.

@JESSaBELLIE  Yes, that's what I was going for, where people who want to talk to the friends they made on here can talk without filling up people's notifications, and only people who agree to be accepted into the chat room will see the messages!  

I have some friends here on wattpad that refuse to go to any other sites like Facebook or Myspace or whatever, so here is the only place I can talk to them, so that's why I want the chat room :D

I think it's a FANTABULOUS idea!  LIke a private chat room, where they have to accept the invitation to join the chat!  and even a public chat for different clubs would be really cool!

Definitely! I agree with everyone here! The chat room would be a great idea and if Wattpad decides it's a good idea and makes it, I hope that they don't make it for genres. Too many people would be talking at one. I like the Facebook idea that you brought up.
