I tried looking up my stories but their not showing up and i dont know why

For those with no results found in searching: What is the name of your story and what have you tired searchignf or so far?

For those with missing parts: Make sure you've clicked "save and publish" and not "save", and check that they're in the correct story group.

@xxfloorxxx that's the rating of the story. It's advised that only those 13 and older can watch.

I had a problem at first where I couldnt figure out how to write the description. so  i copyed and pasted my story 2 times.then i deleted the original and the next one because i finally figured it out. now when i type in my username in the search bar... my story comes up 3 times deleted without the one i didnt delete. I KNOW i didnt delete because it comes up when u click my username, but if it doesnt come up in the search bar no one will read it... pls help!

i write my story on my laptop. when im done for the day i save it 2 times just in case. and i use to get My book getting updated by getting a notification on my ipad, iphone and email. welll now i have to update all the time. and no matter how many times i save it or update: my work is only shown on the laptop, no not my phone or ipad.just the laptop. my iphone and ipad are @ the same  spot. i've tried to updating who noes who long, and i've been writing alot more and it doesn't show up. only on my laptop yes but not on my devices. i think this is a problem. if my work doesn't show how will be people continue reading? i don't noe what to do but for now im saying this. i hope someone finds the solution, if not im going to go balistic.

My story, Fear and Blood, isn't coming up when I search. Is there a delay period from the time of publication to the time it shows up as searchable? I've tried searching the name and tags as well.

You see, a friend told me that my work and even my username is NOWHERE to be found :(((. She don't have an account, so she just searched.  

When I go online to check it out (I didn't log in that time), it's true that my work was not found. So do my username.

I have lost three of my stories entirely. When I look them up I only find the first chapter. I've tried to repost them from my phone but it won't work. This has never happened to me before, and when I tried to post it from the site they aren't there.

Your story wont come up in profile because its not published when you publish a story it get saved to profile where you can read it.

To carry on with your story just go on to my works and edit then save it at the end.

...I had tried to save my story on my profile after I had worked on it but i hadn't published it yet....I thought it was been saved but two days after I had saved it and try to scan it in my profile...it was gone...it appeared to be not saved...what should I do?  Please help me 'coz it is so long already and i don't have a back-up copy of that story...hope u'll have a time to help me...

Okay, I don't why but in every one of my books, it seems that half of the chapter goes missing. In my first book, half of the prologue is missing and its' really frustrating me because I don't have a hard copy of the prologue anymore. And my pictures and videos seem to disappear too. HELP!

Hi there! I've been experiencing technical difficulties like the question mentioned above. I posted a new chapter to my Tagalog/Filipino story, Lure A Pianist's Heart, and it showed up for about 30 minutes or so. After that, when I went to my profile page and clicked on the story, my update didn't appear at all. But when I used the direct link of the new chapter (sent in my email), the update appears! Another thing, the reads in the new chapter wasn't included in the overall read count of the whole story, but the votes are. It's frustrating. What exactly is going on? o_O

umm okay so i look up my username, and when it shows my works, one of my stories doesnt show up. and then when i loook it up specifically, it says i have more reads than when im just in my works.....im so confused....

Are you using the Wattpad app? If you are, and have made some changes from there, thats your problem. If thats the case, here's what you do:

1. Open Wattpad app
2. Go to Create
3. Tap your story
4. Find the chapter or segment you've edited, and tap the symbol beside it (Its either red or green...can't remember which. XD)
5. Choose whichever changes you'd like to stay
6. sync!

My other story which i had deleted is still showing but the one which I'm actually writing is not showing in the humor section and also on my blackberry wattpad app!

hi, umm.. okkay well I haven't been on here in a few months so I'm not sure if it's a recent feature or if it's been this way for a while, but I remember when I was last on here you could click 'manage story' and it had two boxes with options for transferring chapters/parts in and out of a story, making it either readable (or published) or unreadable. I'm trying to edit a few chapters but I'd like to take them down so that I can do so on word and I can't find an option of doing so? could anyone help me please as I'd really like to make them unreadable for a while..?
