My story is not on the list of supported languages. Will it be removed? Can readers still discover and read my story?

- We understand that this change may directly affect you, especially if your story is currently in a language that will no longer be supported.
- While we recognize the impact this may have, we believe that by focusing on our biggest global reading communities, we can create more opportunities for writers as we continue to foster vibrant fan communities around the world.
Can you add a translating feature/ I want to translate a story/ can we translate stories now that some/ my language is unsupported
- Unfortunately, since stories are written by individual authors, we cannot translate their stories on their behalf.
- The stories are written in the author's language of choice and is the author's decision if they wish to write it in another language.
- If you wish to read stories in a certain language, you can change your discovery language settings using this guide.
When will my language be supported again?
- The 25 languages we will continue to support represent more than 99% of the Wattpad content on the platform today. This change will allow us to focus our resources and better support our biggest global reading communities, creating opportunities for writers and nurturing fan communities worldwide.
- At this time, we do not have plans to support additional languages. We welcome users to adapt existing content to one of the 25 languages that we support.
