When you have finished writing a story, you can mark it as “Complete” to let others know that your story has ended. This can help you reach a wider audience, as some users prefer completed stories. It may also make your story more discoverable because stories can be filtered by a ‘completed’ status in the search bar.
Note: You can revert the story to ongoing at any time by following the same steps.

On iOS
- Tap on the pencil icon at the bottom of the screen
- Click Edit another Story
- Select a story
- Tap on More Info
- Swipe the switch next to complete (it should turn green)
- Tap on the back arrow to save
On Android
- Tap on the pencil icon at the bottom of the screen
- Press Edit another Story
- Select a story
- Tap on More Info
- Check the box beside 'Completed Story'
- Then press the back arrow in the upper left hand corner - the change will automatically save
On Windows Phone
- Tap the three lines in the upper left hand corner
- Select Create
- Tap on a story
- Select More Info
- Tap the switch next to Completed (it should change colour and say ‘On’)
- Press the back arrow
- Tap on the disc icon (Save) at the bottom of the screen
On Web
- Select Create on the banner at the top
- Click on the title of a story
- Click on a story title
- Scroll to the bottom of the page
- Where it says 'Story Status', select 'Completed' from the drop-down menu
- Click on Save Changes in the upper right-hand corner
