Sharing a story

Option 1: In a story

1. Tap on the screen while reading a story
2. Tap on Share on the bottom navigation bar
3. Select the sharing option you’d like to use

Option 2: From the story description page

1. Open a story to the story description page
2. Tap on Share in the upper right hand corner
3. Select the sharing option you’d like to use

Option 3: From a reading list

1. Open a reading list
2. Swipe a story to the left
3. Tap on Share 
4. Select the sharing option you’d like to use

Option 4: In your library

1. Open your library
2. Tap on the  More button (list view) or long press on a story (grid view)
3. Select Share 
4. Select the sharing option you’d like to use

Option 5: From your archive

1. Open your archive
2. Tap on the  More button (list view) or long press on a story (grid view)
3. Select Share 
4. Select the sharing option you’d like to use

1. Open a story to the story description page

1. Open a reading list
2. Tap the More options button
3.  next to the story 
4. Select Share
5. Select the sharing option you’d like to use

Option 4: In your library

1. Open your library
2. Tap the More options button next to a story (list view) or long press on a story cover (grid view)
3. Select Share 
4. Select the sharing option you’d like to use

Option 5: In your archive

1. Open your archive
2. Tap the  More options button next to a story (list view) or long press on a story cover (grid view)
3. Select Share 
4. Select the sharing option you’d like to use

Option 1: In a story

1. Open a story part
2. Click on one of the sharing options on the left-hand side

Option 2: At the bottom of a story

1. Open a story part
2. Scroll to the bottom of the part
3. Click on one of the sharing options

Option 3: From the story description page

1. Open up a story to the story description page
2. Click on one of the sharing options on the right-hand side

Option 4: Get the code to embed your story on another site

1. Click Write in the top right of your home page
2. Click on My Stories
3. Click on the title of the story you'd like to share
4. Select View as reader, then Start reading
5. On the left side of the story text, you'll see icons for sharing. Select the code icon </>
6. Copy the code and paste it into the site where you want to embed the story

Option 5: Get the direct link to your story

1. Open up a story to the story description page
2. Copy the url of the page. The url will be wattpad.com/story/ followed by the ID number of your story and some version of your story's title
3. Paste this link wherever you'd like to share your story
