Troubleshooting issues on the website

Are you having trouble accessing Wattpad on the website? Is something not working quite right? Bugs and temporary glitches tend to happen from time to time. Before we begin investigating, we always recommend trying out these troubleshooting steps as more often than not, most problems are likely due to a caching issue. The more you use the site, the more the cache builds! Clearing that cache can fix the problem, and you can quickly return back to your Wattpad experience.

If you are experiencing issues on the website, please try the steps below.

  1. Turn your wireless/wired connection off and on again, or try connecting to another wi-fi network.
  2. Try accessing your account using a different browser such as Firefox or Google Chrome
  3. Try logging out of your account, clearing your browser’s cache/cookies, and logging back in again. If you'd like to clear your cache only on Wattpad, you can do so! Choose your browser below and follow the steps. If your browser isn't listed, try searching the browser you use with 'clear cache on a single site' in your preferred search engine, and you might find a solution.
