Occasionally, Wattpad notifications are delayed or do not send as the result of an outage. From our experience, notifications do get sent eventually. We will continue to work on improving performance on our end, and we ask for your patience as we work on this.
You can check our Status Page here to see if there is a current outage that may be affecting the delivery of notifications.
If there is no outage and you are still not receiving either feed or push notifications, please choose your device below and follow the troubleshooting steps:
On iOS & Android
- Turn off your notification settings and save these changes, then logout and wait a few minutes before logging back in and turning the notifications on again.
- Toggle your wi-fi/data connection off and on again, or try connecting to another wi-fi network.
- Try uninstalling and reinstalling the app.
On the Web
- Toggle your wi-fi/data connection off and on again, or try connecting to another wi-fi network.
- Try logging out of your account, clearing your browser’s cache/cookies, and logging back in again
- Try accessing your account using a different browser such as Firefox or Google Chrome
