Issues with finding a story in search

If you are having trouble finding a story on Wattpad, it may be due to one of the following issues:

1. Your account's story language is different from the language the story that you are searching for is set to.
   • For example, if your account's story language is set to English but the story you are searching for is set to French, you will not be able to find this story in the search results. For more information on these language settings, please check the article Changing Language.
   • If you're searching for your own story and not able to find it, please check if you've set your story language to the right one. For more information on how to do that, please check the article Editing your story details.
2. The story you are searching for is rated Mature. Mature stories are only visible to users who are 17 years or older. In order to view such stories, you must have a birth date on your Wattpad account that shows that you are 17 years or older. For the same reason, readers who are not logged into an account will also not be able to see Mature stories.
3. The title may contain common keywords. Try searching for the exact title:
   
   • Type "title:" before the text to get exact title match results. (Please note: this will not work with a combination of tags)
   • Example: "title: My first Wattpad story"
4. The writer of the story may have blocked you. You can learn more about blocking in the article Blocking a user
