Adding or removing a dedication

Wattpad allows you to dedicate your published story parts to other Wattpadders that you’d like to make a special mention of in your work.

You can only dedicate to other users that you are following on Wattpad to a published story part on web. This feature is not available on the app at the moment.

Enter their username and once you’ve dedicated a story part, the user that you dedicated to will receive a notification about it.

You can add, edit or remove a dedication at any time, provided the part is published.

Adding a dedication

1. Click on Write on the top navigation bar
2. Navigate to the story part
3. Click the   More button in the upper right-hand corner
4. Click Add beside Dedicate
5. Type in a username
6. Click Dedicate

Removing a dedication

1. Click on Write on the top navigation bar
2. Navigate to the story part
3. Click the   More button in the upper right-hand corner
4. Click Edit beside Dedicate
5. Click Remove
