Access your previous Support requests and check your request status

When you submit a request or report to Wattpad, a Support request is created. The request will have a status that tells you where it is in the process. 

Here are what the different Support request statuses mean: 

• Open: When you submit a request, it will be set to "Open". If a request is labeled "Open", your request is waiting for a reply from an agent. It is still in the queue, and an agent should answer within 24 hours (longer on weekends).
• Awaiting your reply: We are waiting for a response from you. If you received an auto-response from us that requires an answer, you will need to respond to it before the request will be given to an agent. If you do not respond within 7 days, the request will automatically be closed. 
• Solved or Closed: The request has been solved or closed. This could mean two different things:
  • That the issue has either been solved or all questions have been answered.
  • The issue has been documented and/or escalated to the developers. The agent will let you know before solving the request. You can reply to reopen this request if you still have questions.

Please remember that if you don’t respond within 7 days, the request will automatically be closed and that once a request has been closed/solved for more than 7 days, it can’t be reopened. You will need to create a follow-up request or send in a new request.
