Updating Wattpad

If you use a web browser, it automatically updates with the latest changes and fixes from Wattpad. There's no need to manually update it. 

Switch on Automatic Updates

1. Navigate to your iPhone / iPad Settings.
2. Tap iTunes & App Store.
3. Switch App Updates on.

Update manually 

1. Open the App Store.
2. Tap your Apple ID image in the top right corner.
3. Find Wattpad, and tap UPDATE. 

Note: If Wattpad isn’t listed here, your app is on the latest version available to you. We slowly roll out new app versions in case there are any issues, so it may take up to a week for the newest app update to be available to you after it's initially released.

Check your app version 

1. Tap on your Profile Picture 
2. Select  Settings in the top right corner
3. Scroll down down the page to Version

Switch on automatic updates 

1. Open the Google Play Store.
2. Use the search bar to find Wattpad.
3. Tap the three vertical dots in the top right.
4. Check Enable Auto-update.

Tip: You can switch on automatic updates for all your apps. Head to your Google Play Store’s Settings and tap Auto-update apps. Here you can choose to only automatically update when connected to WiFi to save your data.

Update manually

1. Open the Google Play Store.
2. Use the search bar to find Wattpad.
3. Tap UPDATE.

3. Scroll down the page to About Wattpad
